kidsdogs.jpgOur little tribe is made up of the following:

Dave:  father, husband, student, lives in Madison, works in Alaska.

Sandie:  mother, wife, lives in Madison, doesn’t work at all.

Kjell:  eldest son, oldest brother, friend of everyone,  hard working 5th grader.

Broder:  middle child, little brother, older brother, taking 2nd grade, and the world, by storm.

Synnove:  baby girl, little sister, Sunny/Stormy 4 year old.

Entropy:  the big guy, little puppy, a rug with legs.

Rock/Pilot:  pet rats, skinny/fat, they will bite.

About Sandie

A little background: A mother of 3, two boys and a girl. Married young to a good man. No longer young, but he is still a good man. Grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis, lived several years in small town Alaska, spent a couple years in the city of Madison, currently residing not too far from down town Anchorage. Drink a crazy amount of coffee. Fiercely loyal to my friends. Truly rabid in my defense of family. Beyond thankful that my God loves me enough to allow me to doubt and question.

  1. I was happy to read your blog. Sounds like everyone is busy and active and doing well. I suppose it is only the good parents who question their parenting and you came to the right conclusion. Sometimes it’s the “others” who have the problem and try to pass it on to us.

Congratulations on your weight loss. You never seemed overweight so I was surprised. It’s a tough battle but one you can win and be better for. Hang in there!

Would like to hear more from you so will continue to check your blog.

We are well and busy. Just got back from OR and spoiling the grands. Reece is a happy first grader and KD is all girl, loving pink, purple and anything princess. Brenda’s 40th birthday didn’t seem to upset her too much and Marc’s surprise party for her was great.

Benton loves his job at the Apple Store but we don’t hear much from him. He and Alicia seem happy and love their four-legged family.

  2. This blog is a good idea. You are a wonderful person with great insights, and it will be good for the many people who know you to be exposed to your insights in this blog.

  3. “Doesn’t work at all”??? Really? With three kids involved in school and activities?

Please pass the Bon Bons. I think my soap opera is about to come on. 🙂
