Monday evenings…

on Monday evenings, the kids have music lessons. Sunny has started playing the piano, and the boys are back into harp. Their instructor is lively, fun and seems to really enjoy all three of the kids. She has this amazing studio filled with beautiful instruments, a fireplace, and loads of windows. but the best part is the loft above the studio where I sit, listening. this lovely little space is cozy and comfy and just the perfect spot to take a little nap, dream a little daydream, read or knit.

2.5 hours a week where I can’t go anywhere, 2.5 hours a week where I have to relax. bummer.

About Sandie

A little background: A mother of 3, two boys and a girl. Married young to a good man. No longer young, but he is still a good man. Grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis, lived several years in small town Alaska, spent a couple years in the city of Madison, currently residing not too far from down town Anchorage. Drink a crazy amount of coffee. Fiercely loyal to my friends. Truly rabid in my defense of family. Beyond thankful that my God loves me enough to allow me to doubt and question.

  1. Hi Sandie and family,
I’m so happy to hear that the boys are playing the harp again. Alexa sits down at ours once in a very great while to tune it and pluck out a few pretty notes, but no lessons at this time. Yeah for Sunny playing the piano, too! Grant seems to have a gift for hearing a song he likes and being able to translate that to music on our piano. What a gift! Enjoy your fenorced relaxation. It sounds wonderful. Love to all of you. Lynn
